Description
Tiny in the kydex posture collar prototype, after some trimming and finishing. Two inch purple webbing strap secures it for now: it'll have slots cut in it to keep the neck strap in place and slots along the bottom edge to join with the straitjacket harness. Edges are a bit rough, just wanted to get something physical so I could start working out the bugs.Inspired by Knotbot's Bow Jacket. This one is fitted for Tiny, as it was made from the study cast I took from her neck. Subsequent casts will be in various sizes, to fit other models and the intended wearer.

A few other fun bits:
The pebble texture on this is an experiment Tiny proposed. You can see a distinct difference between this an the previous cast, labeled 'Project teaser two'. Normally I either leave the piece under vacuum to cool slowly, or use an air jet to rapidly freeze it in place. In this case, Tiny suggested a water mist instead. The plastic was taken off the vacuum while it was on the mold plug, and misted with a fine spray of water while it was still molten. Everywhere the water droplets hit, the plastic froze. It was then put back under vacuum, and the frozen bits made a pebble texture as the rest of the plastic stretched back into place. I like the effect, and I'll certainly be using this one again.
I grabbed Tiny out of the shower to take this shot. That's why her hair looks so wild.
I've added to Tiny's collection of piercings between this shot and the most recent ones: This is the first half of a set of 'snakebite' labrets. This makes four piercings I've done on Tiny: the others aren't DA safe. I'm considering also doing twin 'monroe' labrets, and making a rubber ball with four appropriately positioned barbells embedded in it. Lips sealed tight around a ballgag, and nothing showing from outside except jewelry.

I made several casts from the original plug mold. One of them will serve as a negative mold for another plaster plug, which will be resculpted one size up, then another vacumold, another plug, resculpt one size up, etc. My plan is to gift the first completely successful prototype to Steph of Knotbot art, in thanks for the inspiration her art has provided, then offer these as components and as finished products. This will be combined with the purple straitjacket strap set here: pre04.deviantart.net/33b6/th/p… The strap set and collar will either reinforce a straitjacket and increase the confinement and escape resistance, or stand in for a straitjacket by itself. As a replacement for a straitjacket, it will pack into a small travel bag, for those impromptu road trip bondage sessions. Nothing in the set is metal, and it is completely waterproof, extra handy when your dirty prisoner needs a hosedown.
