Description
Tinysaurus poses in the latest cast from my collar project. This one needs some work: it got a little bit melty around the bottom edge, but I wanted to see how it fit. Of course, it's for someone with a slightly longer neck, so she's having a bit of trouble with it, and staring at the ceiling.Related content

The important thing, even though the attachment point for the straps is somewhat distorted, is that now I have a fixed point of reference to measure from. Now I just need to get the temperature of the plastic right. Last week it was too cold and tore. This week it's too hot and wrinkling. GRRRRRR ARRRRRRG HEADBANG

Learning experiences are less fun when you think you've gotten it dialed in. If I can't make this work this way, I have a backup plan. I'd originally planned to build this as strips. The vacuforming seemed an easier route when I took making lots of sizes into account, but so far it has been more of a hassle. Now that I have a neck form that matches your size, building the collar right on it would work.
