Apparently being my favorite character means having all my personal issues regurgitated upon you in art form.

It's my breakup gift to me.

I am feeling pretty damn good, but I should theoretically be feeling bad (everybody seems to assume so, anyways), so I decided to give myself a present in consolation for recent goings on. And this is that present.

So if it seems like there's a lot of disparate elements here... yeah, there probably is. I was being generous with myself, and I never really told myself "no" here. Everything got tossed in, basically.

I had the basic idea for the piece, then I didn't really have a color scheme for it, so I just picked a couple, then I decided I hadn't done a starfield in a while.... you know.

Rebecca Nightrod was in there for a while, but I nixed her. She's still there, sort of. In spirit.

SO, uh, yeah.

I don't have any patience for my own bullshit unless it results in art.

[EDIT2] I also looked up open heart surgery, for this. Images and video are really, really available on that topic. Realization: There are still things that make me uncomfortable.
