Description
St. Patrick's Day usually leaves Scottish Americans like me feeling left out until someone appeals to our thrift.

I loved making this comic, not only because Scotland and Ireland have a (mostly) friendly rivalry but because it brings back my first and probably least-developed villain: El Marqués (translation: The Marquis) Pasquale, the Knight of the Poisoned Sun and self-proclaimed arch rival of Colonel Knight Rider. Evidently, he forgot that leprechauns are naturally drawn to the verdant shade of his armor.

Despite Pasquale being abducted by only man and boy leprechauns, the leprechaun clan of Lucky Baldwin does have women and girls, but the entire flightless Irish fairy species in this universe is so backwards and sexist with gender roles that the women are almost never seen outside their tiny homes!

Fun fact: I colored the leprechauns' wine bottles using one of two hexadecimal color codes for wine: hex #722f37 (the other is hex #b11226 ).
