Poor Subcat. Ha ha ha. I hope Subcat has a wetsuit with plenty of oxygen. Or, hopefully Subcat invented an escape pod that has an industrial hair drier whilst allowing him to surface and go to shore without facing the "icky wet stuff."

Maybe he'll get back at that fish by inventing a fish catcher that will catch, kill, gut and prepare the fish so he can have it for supper.

I think we're bad for Subcat.

Ahaha, needless to say, this story may not end well for him.

So far, newish idea wise was either subcat was just curious or had some way of tormenting fish (maybe robotic arms on the sub he figured out how to work from the inside?) on the other side of the viewing glass, and then eventually they wise up and the all start staring at him like "immaaa eatchu" through the glass, and since it's apparently a research sub the majority of it has the glass bubbles around it so subcat ends up realizing it's increasingly difficult to find a hiding spot, and maybe when he FINALLY finds a good spot where no fish can see him, it turns out to be like the emergency trigger for the sub or something and it ends up going into red alert and breaking and possible drowning kitty. XDD

OR SOMETHING. lol. That makes it sound waaayy too long though. i'd need it to be like 1-2 minutes tops as a film.

Maybe he was eager to try his NEW and IMPROVED way to catch his breakfast, lunch and dinner (after all, he does live off the ocean.) His new device was a new and improved net to his assembly line. The first caught the fish with an electric powered net which is the only outside mechanism, the next did all the nasty stuff (which is censored, of course), the next cooked and put it in his bowl, and the last put it on the floor for him to eat (you could just do little snap shots for each mechanism like the old Bugs Bunny cartoons.) Upon seeing the new and improved net and seeing what it did, the fish become angry and find the only loose screw Subcat forgot to tighten with the new improvements and employ a slug to knock the screw loose. Subcat runs around, a la Wile E. Coyote, sub filling with water, and the final shot says, "SubKitty Litter" or something of the nature whilst the screen fills up with water.

OR

Subcat was doing repairs on his submarine (which he has to do weekly, lest his abode get rusty and water leak.) On that day, a school of very pretty, yummy fish happy to pass by his abode whilst he was fixing a Very Important Seam. Distracted, the rusty seam starts cave in (this particular seam needed a good polish and hardening with his fire thingy), and the screws start popping out, water pouring in a la Titanic. Subcat is rudely awakened from his daze and RUNS FOR HIS ESCAPE POD!!!!!!!!!! He makes it to his escape pod in the nick of time, deploys it to the surface and cries in despair because now he finds himself in the middle of the ocean, with no food, no water, and no litter box. This is the fate of the Subcat. (And then we go to the sequel where Subcat is rescued, returned to his owner, whom he hates, and Subcate makes another BETTER submarine.)

Haha hes clever in that stupid way that cats are, definitely! Gosh i'd love to make it ;o; i can hardly ever draw Subcat correctly though, i would butcher the animation XD

Yeah, thats the sad part! I had a really fun little idea for a short, but i've gone and forgotten what it was asides the general idea XD

Yunno, i've heard of kickstarter, almost thought about putting gatordog up there, but I'd feel so weird doing it, iunno

I think you should go for it.

I'm thinking of posting one of my projects there once it's finished.

Another good idea is posting artwork on a site called zazzle.com.

They turn artwork into a T-shirt or something else and sell it and send the artist a royalty check.
