Description
There's a drinking game in their world where you see how many cups you can stack on someone's head after each drink. Too bad one of them is passed out...Also the way she's doing it is cheating lolOriginally for a contest entry, but I ran out of time
Oh well, I just figured I'd finish it up anyways since I was almost done. It was so hard finding references >_< I pretty much winged half of it.

Good Points:
- I really like the lineless art style. It's kind of cartoonish (and it reminds me of some animated cartoons with a lineless art style.) and painterly at the same time!
- Ooh! I think I can see how that character cheated in that drinking game. How mischievous. They used that other guy's drinks when they passed out. (Sneaky indeed...)
Improvements/Suggestions:
- I think it would be way better if the light sources (In this case: the gas lamps) are much brighter because it would explain the bright lighting on the characters.
- I imagine that the brown-haired character would be drinking a lot. I suggest putting some indicator that they're drunk or something. (Ex: Blushing)

This scene I did laugh to at first. The idea of putting shot glasses on your friend's drunk head like a balancing act reminds a lot of drinkings games. The visual concept, however, seems very off or blurry. The light source is behind her, and I don't see another one over the table compared to the height comparison from the background. So I'm asking myself, where is that other source that shines on her head. It was also hard to tell if she was a woman at first glance. The fabric brushing is awesome and well done. There is still an issue different from the clothes in the background and woman behind her. The other characters in the background blend in too well with the furniture. It does help make the main visual stick out more, but with too many murky colors, they don't blend well together for a tavern scene. Even though this wasn't finished on the time you were hoping. I still give this a 3.5 overall just for the visual gag and focus on the characters. Keep up the good work.

i really like how you shading your drawing and the face is just epic :3 the detail on the background are very well made , the outfit is really pretty and the shading on it is really cool , the light is cool too , your art style is pretty unique and...i don't know wht else to say exept that this drawing is gorgeous you are a very good artist with a lot of talent I would have killed to have as much talent as you but once again good job it's very well done (i'm so sorry for my bad english i'm french)

I like the mixture of anime and painterly style.
My critique:
Candle light is bright at the source but doesn't radiate very far, so the scene would be darker behind the main guy. The candle is behind him so he would be mostly in shadow, you could add another light source of the image to help bring some light back onto them.
His hair and arm would be the brightest with everything else getting dimmer. Glasses would pick up some sharp highlights depending on the material they are made of.

What enticingly intriguing piece you have been able to craft here The Vibes in this piece are very intriguing it is really a shame that you weren't able to enter the contest but regardless you should be glad that you did this piece anyways because it is a very good one and it always helps to be able to add yet another wonderful piece to your gallery portfolio for future reference. I'm not entirely sure what world this is from I don't know if it is your own made-up or if it is someone else's but it is very intriguing and I'm interested more about this places customs in the people who live there. The lighting you did it was exceptional I love how it is lightly dim and Dusky just like a public look like but not too dark as to not be able to make out certain things about the picture I also appreciate how you put effort into creating a background the detail and character expression one thing about the lighting is it somehow looks like it's coming from the front rather than lamp above next time I didn't work low to the lamp especially around where the fire is. Another wonderful thing about this pieces all the textures used especially like the way the cups look for some reason it is funny to play a prank on an old passed out drunk or it or whatever even if it's not nice it's a humorous scene. The sleeve on the left resting on the table is magnificently well done the Ruffles are just perfect.

Wow, this is so nicely drawn! I thought it was a picture when I first saw it! I really enjoy how the colors blend and how unified the whole piece looks. I'm kind of curious on whether the two main characters in the shot know each other or if she's just stacking cups on a random person's head. Also what is the gender of the person lying down? One thing I will say is that the girl's face kind of has a strange effect on me. It's kind of this cartoony realism that I don't usually see. Part of me sees her as a real person and the other part processes it as more of a 3D model. I don't know whether to consider this a good or a bad thing, so I'll just say neutral. Overall, I really do love the piece! Well done!!!

The lightning is good! I like how you highlighted the guy on the front with the table as well as keeping the rest of the bar in darker shades. It really adds to what you want to say. You're very well acquainted with the basics, however you have to work on your details. What I mean by that is that you focused mainly on the two guys in front, while the back had still work to do. Also I would recommend using different brushes and brush strokes because not every surface is painted in the same way and don't be afraid to add fuzzy details in the back as well, it adds to the quality as well as the realism of the art (of course if that is what you're going for). The lightning again: pay attention to it in the background, not everything is the same shade (look at the latern and then at the curtain next to it, then look at the curtain way back. Also don't be afraid to experiment with colors! Who knows maybe you could've added shades of purples and blues as well! (remember that the black color is rarely found in nature so use it minimal!).
And one last thing is that you have to pay attention with the weight of some things you're drawing, what i mean is gravity. Are the curtains heavier or loose here? You've done it pretty well with the white sleeves but then again, practice more and you'll get the hang of it! It's like a cheat!
