As stated by others Me!Me!Me! It has to do with addiction to the internet, anime, porn, video games, etc. The main character seems to have a nice life ahead of him. But he is addicted to the things mentioned above. It tears his life to shreds. While he try's to get better in the end he is pulled back in. His 'death' possible indicates the death of his will to change, or his will in general. Just a few thoughts of mine.

i saw a really good interpretation about how its like addiction? like he has this hot gf but he has this intense weeb anime/hentai addiction and it starts out with him happy in the dream but it gets to be eating away at him like when it all goes intense and he gets boob crushed? and he got this hella cute gf and she shown through the whole thing i guess manifesting as the anime babe but idk he left her for anime or something bc she crying af in the part and i think when he goes mecha he tryna fight through it and get back to her bc we see all the clips of them together but they totally wreck his shit and she gone and he gone and he relapses into hentai again

my friend cal said that it was like, an abusive relationship. like theres two of the girl, one is evil and the other is good, and those represent like how he loves her but hes also terrified of her or something.
