Finally the day came, when non of the soldiers had to stuck in the tight wear , tied down by belts and carry around heavy gear. Having their heart beat echoed in ears as they seek for possible danger, feeling breath of dead against their own nape.
No, non of those shall be today. No obligation should be set up as a privilege of the day, as the king requests everyone to come for the dance.

For this one evening, they shall rest their soul and enjoy the pleasure of the moment, which is wished to remain for eternity.

The great hall inside the inner city. The brightness of it made it hard to see where its ends. Sparkling in the lights of thousands colors, reflecting in the crystals hanging upon everyone's head, and melting in with the flower decoration that scream from every wall and table. This one very day no one shall starve, there was enough food to prepare for winter sleep in cave. To feed a whole army and still have some to give away.

Join for the night dance upon starry star can anyone with proper wardrobe. A man must wear suit for lady a ball gown. Remember the prettier you dress the higher change you have to be glorified.

As the tradition of every ball preaches, this one shall have its own queen and king, no ,no its not going to be the king himself, but the most beautifully dressed pair of people. Those shall be prized with a little jewel to remember this day. As for those dark times and we shall cherish the precious days that bring us happiness and share with the dearest ones.

Second - Ball itself

PART ONE
Time to get ready pull out your Sunday suit ? A gown after mother, grandmother ? What matters the most ...' Do I look pretty ? '.Its time to shine especially the ladies may want to leave a good impression and show that behind the blood and wounds they still look fabulous. However a gentleman shall not stand in their shadow, and prove how handsome he can look on a day off work.

To participate and classify for the queen and king lottery you have to draw your characters outfit for the ball.
You do not need to join in pairs but you can.

For this NO chibi or halfbody are accepted, the picture has to be finished art piece in color which means NO lineart, sketch and collab since this is a lil outfit contest.
Show as how glamorous you can be!

PART TWO

Now that we all have prepared out wonderful outfits and know they fit perfect is time to go. The spotlight awaits. One more deep breath, a word to lift courage and tot take a step forward into the crowded but jolly place. Your friends, comrades and quittance everyone is there. Drinking , talking or for the few with less manner, stuck their cheeks full.

And here are we at the second part of our event ! Congratulation you manged to find nice outfit. Here you are free of of any submission of the ball theme. It has to picture anything that happens that night. From dancing too night escape. Picture doesn't have to happened inside the great hall (ball room) but may be outside . YET it cannot be out of the inner city.

Submission guide line allows any art style only requirement it must be colored or black-white ( comic mange has allowed clean line art /+ screentones)

As the ball came to an end, it was time for the nobles to decide who was the best dressed for tonight's event. Most of them had a hard time deciding, as everyone looked wonderful. Eventually, after discussing the matter, they came to a conclusion as to which two should receive the title of "Ball King and Queen". The winners are:
