I always imagined that if Wave ever got a line in the show, he would probably be Soarin's big brother, and I sometimes see Spitfire as Soarin's older sister(I have read a lot of fanfics for me to accept that as a headcannon),Spitfire being the oldest out of the three. To explain Spitfire being their older sibling, they have different mother's.
Like any older sibling, they love to mess with Soarin a lot. This comes from experience, with me literally being the youngest in the family.
