From chapt. 144 of Piercing the Heavens. Soarin' stepping up, protecting his girl, and being a complete badass while doing so. I don't think I was 100% accurate when it came to this scene. I was drawing this based off memory, and I couldn't remember if Soarin' had any scratches on him, but I put them on him anyway, and as you can see, the glow to his horn and eyes isn't there. No matter how many ways I added the glow in I just couldn't get it right. But, hey I shouldn't complain, at least the pic looks pretty.
