I guess if a persons in it for the money.. I'm not sure I could sell a finished project though.. I'd be too attached.. lol.. It'd be so great to have a car to take to the shows.. then I'd be so nervous about getting scratches and dings.. maybe a RatRod is what I'd build.. then scratches and dings would ony add to iit's character..

i kinda like the ratrod thing, but 2 days of having a rusted up or dinged up ride, would just give me reason to do some body work or paint work to it. i was never in it for the money, except for my decal, sign shop here but thats diferent, I like getting something thats ready for the junk yard and fixing it up a little, run it a little and sell it for about what i have in it if not more to someone that really like what i've done to it and can enjoy it for a while longer.

Yeah I've never made a dime from vehicles.. only cleaning and detailing them.. I usually drive mine until their ready for the scrapper... I would Love though to learn to do bodywork.. the Charger needs some quarters patched.. wish I knew someone who would do it for a case of cold beer.. Those days are over I think.. since the cost of labor went from $15 an hour to about $100..
I guess it pays to learn that kind of trade.. This new vinyl covering is pretty nifty.. I've seen a few parade vehicles covered in different designs.. and the Nascar series has been doing it for awhile now.. It must be an interesting business to be in..

it's kind of neat to do the the vehicle wraps. I don't think it will ever replace a nice clean paint job but, who knows. the more decals and stripes I do for people, the more my rides stay plain and clean with nothing on them. Its kind of funny that way. But, i do love my work, its pretty awesome to design something and see it rolling down the highway months or years later.

I've done a few window numbers and some car names for a couple drag cars, I've even lettered a couple demolition derby cars.
