Omfgoth!!!!! The entire time I read it my heart was pounding, my face kept turning red even during the parts that weren't sexual. All I could think of is what it would be like to be in Daphne's place!!!! Omfgoth!!!!! You My Dear Lady Alyssa(sp???) have a gift for writing!!!! It was like I was there when I read it!!! I just thought about Time Without Light for the first time in forever a couple of days ago. I still want to draw scenes from it.
That being said, I hope you haven't mistaken me of the fic author Lady Alyssa. I saw somebody by that pen name on FF.net but I've never spoken to her.

Anyway, when I wrote the story, I tried to stay in-character and keep with the feel of the movie. I'm so glad to have in depth response on it although I feel I'm not worthy of such praise. Thank you again

I don't suppose you'd be willing to write a story about Darkness for me?? I would offer a trade or something but I have no way to upload anything that's why my gallery is pretty much empty. I'm so sorry if that was rude to even ask. I've just been dying to read a story where Darkness raises a little girl as his Daughter, and finds himself being as protective as a mother lion crossed with a mother bear, but sorta acts like a mother hen at times..... XD lol!! I know it's weird, but I see him as being capable of being a father and a lover. (Meaning to me lol!!! XD )

I can't think of anyway that you could pay me back at all. Hmm...all I can think of is a request: I just want people to read my Legend fic(s) and if there is anyone else you know who would like them, just let 'em know. I only ask that you do this if you're comfortable with doing so, however.
I don't mind if you provide a link to my already existing story wherever you want, either. I just feel happy when people read my stuff.
It would take a while for me to write it I assume. Things have been strange and hectic for me but I'm pulling myself together. It could take me months and maybe not. I don't know my writing limitations well enough to put a time on it.
As I think of it, I feel comfortable with making the new story take place after his queen dies, which she does. This girl child would remind him of her but I would be fine with making it where Daphne would still be alive at the time this child comes into their lives via Daphne (as she would come upon it in some manner). Either way, ideas spring to mind.
Also, if there is anything that you would like to add to the story- suggestions and whatnot - just tell me. Regardless of what decisions are made, I have a habit of making things more serious in my thoughts and subsequent stories when it comes to Darkness. There would be the usual dry humor though.

The only things I can think of is I really would like for him to be the only one raising her, either if Daphne survives childbirth she wants nothing to do with her or is afraid or doesn't survive child birth or something..... And I would prefer for the child to look mostly human with maybe a tail and horns and be the size of a mortal child, and pale as bone. XD lol!! And she has his eyes but they're kinda big. And she has this super shrill super high pitched super loud scream that she emits whenever she's terrified and or feels threatened, basically she does it to call for Darkness aka her daddy lol!! And she has powers similar to his, she can walk in daylight but gets sunburned easily or something, and can see in the dark but prefers the darkness(because Darkness is a "being of the dark" and her mother is a "being of light and fell in love with darkness personified"). And I was thinking maybe there could be a scene where she's maybe about 4 or 5, still rather young and wanders off and he has to save her from something!! XD maybe a big animal like a bear, mountain lion, or a really big ogre or something....?? And he surprises himself by being super worried, tries to deny his worry. Then tries his hardest to find her, then hears her scream in terror. And runs as fast as he can and finds something about to hurt her, and she appears to be hurt but it's nothing too serious. But he's about to kill whatever did it, he goes into "super protective daddy mode". And he saves her by sorta crouching over her like a mother lion protecting her cub, and roars then she(the child) clings to him in some way clearly afraid of whatever tried to get her. And then the lion/bear/whatever runs away. And of course at some point during the ordeal Darkness says something to the effect of "you foul beast wil not harm mine child" or something!! XD
Of course that's kinda specific there can be more to it than that!! XD lol!!
Maybe at least one scene where he's trying to bathe her?? And she doesn't want to take a bath? And he's getting slightly annoyed and he tried to scare her and she runs to towards the bath and jumps in the water to escape? But she thinks it's a monster not Darkness. He uses his powers to trick her maybe?? And he laughs and she realizes it was him and makes a pouty face, to which he laughs more. And then she tries to roar angrily at him and he mocks her by roaring the same way. Also I think it'd be super cool if she kinda acts like a cat. But obviously speaks. Oh I almost forgot I think she should have fangs too!! XD
Maybe have a scene where he's trying to get her to do something and she won't listen so he picks her up and she bites him, and gets in trouble? Or maybe he'd be amused?? Maybe another bath scene??
Of course she hates baths, but once she's in the water she loves them because she's fickle like that!! XD lol maybe depending on where the bath is taking place he could be in the water too?? Like if it's in a lake?? Or maybe just has a "splashing war" with her in a small tub??
And the only other things I can think of is, well I want him to feel very protective of her. Like almost over protective, will kill to protect her over the slightest thing. But obviously be a little "clumsy" about it. Like for example:: a random evil lizard fairy character scared her at night it's just sitting on the window sill of her bedroom. And it's not doing a thing to her. She's just freaked out and its just sitting there chilling. And she screams "daddy!!!" And he comes in and is like "what what what is it child??" And she points and says "freaky elf!!!"(or something like that). Then hides under the blanket. Then he just grabs it and smashes it with his bare hand (it's barely two feet tall, maybe 8 inches), and then he's like "it's alright my precious it's gone" then she peaks out and she looks around to see where it went. And he's like "it's right here daddy killed it!" And shows her and is obviously proud. Then she screams and starts to whimper and cry. And he is obviously taken aback and really surprised (she's still really young maybe 2.) and he throws it out the window, and cleans the blood off his hands hastily. And then starts trying to calm her down. When she sees that the "monster" is gone she happily throws her arms around him and says "you're the best daddy!!!" And kisses him. And he's surprised because she literally was acting like she was never crying and he's surprised!! XD lol!! (I was literally laughing my ass off as I typed that part!!! XD )
Maybe also have a few scenes where she gets into trouble and he has to discipline her, and maybe a few times all he has to do is warn her and she behaves lol!! Because she's learned XD lol!! Of course the punishment would be a spanking. Unless you can think of something that you think Darkness would do?? Or maybe both?? XD lol!! I'd love at least one scene where he spanks her for not behaving or listening or something like that.
And a few scenes where they're playing or something and he ends up tickling her and doesn't scratch her which he is surprised.
And the last thing I can think of is when she gets older and she starts to see who and what she is, she starts discovering her body and finds herself drawn to Darkness much like her mother. And he is drawn to her and either he fights it or he doesn't (you can decide on that) and she hardly fights at all. And they eventually end up in bed. Yeah demonic father daughter incest. >3> I'm sorry if that is way too weird and out of your comfort zone. I always figured with "demonic" characters it's something they would do.
I hope all of this isn't too much??? And I hope none of it weirded you out?? And I hope it will work with your ideas too??

Nah, you didn't weird me out at all. I'm pretty weird myself so it didn't phase me. Got a lot of crack-fic on FF.net but most of my crazier stuff is just in documents on my laptop or still in old notebooks.

Since I'm gonna write this new one, it's going to have a lot of my seriousness in it. There will be blood and sadness.
I literally just thought that Darkness could try to resurrect Daphne some years after her death and in the process, inadvertently create the child. Perhaps it is Daphne, yet as a child. Idk.
If Daphne had died in childbirth, I fear that Darkness would have little love for the girl. It wouldn't be pretty, let me just say. But if he simply found the child and was reminded of Daphne, things would go much more swimmingly. It all depends on how dark you're willing to let me take it because I can go very, very dark indeed. Much darker than Time Without Light.
I've got plenty of ideas, yeah. I feel ok with adding a little incestuous innuendo or mere thoughtfulness in it but not the actual act. Not saying that it creeps me out in fics, just that I feel that Darkness (despite being a demon of no small renown) would only think of Daphne in those times. However...no, I'll save that bit for later. Don't want to spoil much.
I do feel that you won't like the finished story much. It's going to be quite similar to Time Without Light and that style of writing rather than light-hearted. But it will be much more grim and touchy in some areas. If this girl wasn't his blood-daughter, I would feel more comfortable making sexual content. After all, I created a set of drawings and head-canon surrounding Napoleon and his Stepson Eugène (but you won't see that anywhere online because I removed it pheh) so the concept of non-blood related sexual yet familial situations doesn't stop me.
Daphne is and was Darkness' one and only true love (in my stories, anyway). After she dies, he doesn't just cling to life for fear of hell but also for the memory of his dear queen as it is all he has left of her and would be destroyed along with him in the fire. He's a desperate and deadly force, far more cruel than ever before and in his despair, I am not certain that he could contain his violent, black heart. That being said, I definitely wouldn't mind writing whatever that heart brings forth. Just thinking about it give me ideas.
As for the girl's appearance, I imagine her to be humanoid only. Pointed ears, fangs yes but maybe small horns if she is the blood daughter of Darkness. That and perhaps a small tail not unlike her father's. If she would not be his blood, then she would have a slender, flesh-toned, foot-long tail with a thin tuft of hair on the tip. Her hair would be unquestionably white, regardless of her derivation.
His thoughts would not always be pure for her but she would be the temptress, in stark contrast. She would be cold and calculated. Mirthless in normality. Never
satisfied and relentless after her coming of age. Before that though, she would barely speak and would be dutiful to a fault. A cold huntress like that of his beloved yet with a childish presence.
Needless to say, it would be graphic and disturbing for some. But still, I don't think you'd like my take on it because it wouldn't be a very fun fic. My mind is always in a sort of dramatic, romantic and distressing state when it comes to what I created with Daphne and the prince of darkness. I would put danger in this new one, or shall I say, a reason for him to protect his cub. To lick her wounds. If the story still sounds interesting to you even after I've stated what I have, then it's go. I will incorporate other things you mentioned in it but with my own "flare" if you wanna call it that.
Anway, bad things have been happening in my life so far this year but I think some is getting better. I feel better, anyway. Nothing for you to worry about, hon.
So, tell me if all of this sounds ok thus far. I'll name the girl soon but I don't know what yet. Thankfully, I have many founts to draw from so I'm not without ideas.
Also, I hopefully will write some more on Daphne and what happened to her after the events of Time Without Light in this new story. Not much. Just vague whispers.

XD some of the ideas I gave you are actually ideas I have for my own story, though I'm still not sure if I'd make it a fanfiction about Darkness or an original story featuring a "Darkness like" version of Satan.
Good point about childbirth. Either way I'm not sure which I'd prefer maybe discovering her somewhere of somehow creating her like you said?? I actually love all the same things as you!! The darker the better, but obviously I would like at least half of it to be about her as a child. Then again it depends on how long each chapter is and how long the whole story is. Lol XD just as long as there's a decent amount about the child growing up with Darkness as her father!! XD either way it doesn't have to be super dark, whichever you are more comfortable with.
I'm not talking Disney, I definitely want it to be at least as dark as the original fairy tales just like the movie. XD

I literally believe that you should write your own story because people would eat up how you write like figgy pudding on Christmas morning, I kid you not. It sounds like your views on Darkness appeal to a much wider group of fans than mine and I feel that you would get the desired story instead of it just being a shot in the dark, like with me.
That doesn't mean that I'm giving up on this, though. My fic could simply be a sister-story to your's or a different view on the same characters.
I don't mean to make you upset but I don't think I'll be using Lilithe as the girl's name if it's ok by you because it reminds me too much of Lily, she who came before. Nothing personal, mind. I like the name Lily and your's is also lovely.

Well, I'm not just saying it. I really do believe that people would like your fic (fics). It doesn't matter if you don't get Darkness' personality in it at all because a buttload of folks seem to like reading fics where the characters aren't in character. Not just in the Legend fandom. Don't be afraid to write or upload fic. If even 10 people read it, that will feel good. I've had some fics with like, only 2 readers but one left me a comment I liked. I think it was "Weird doesn't begin to describe this", which honestly made me happy because I guess I like confusing people heh
I also want to act, be on TV and in movies but who knows. I'm not exactly attractive and I'm very fat but I have ok vocal range. I don't think it'll happen but I can dream.
I'm not confident enough to make a book series. I don't have strong emotional connections with my original characters. I feel better drawing and writing about characters that I haven't created.

I signed up to a website to see what's out there. I've been getting casting calls and directors have been interested in me..... But my parents are extremely over protective and have basically "clipped my wings and put me in a cage". So I couldn't drive myself.... I don't even have a house key........ TT^TT if it weren't for my husband and my "real father" I wouldn't be who I am. I'd still be too afraid, and meek, and not even try to live my life how I want to anymore.....
But don't give up if its what you want to do. That's what my husband and real father tell me all the time. So don't you give up.
I actually have a world I have created in my mind. Well multiple ones, that could either work as a bunch of different series and work together as a huge series. ^,..,^ I have a very over active imagination!!!! XD lol!!

I try not to say how I feel, what my desires are or what I like because people will make fun of them most of the time. Of course, the people who do make fun of me do it out of mischief sometimes but that's rarely the case. Either way, I'm used to being without friends so I feel ok saying what I want.

Yeah, I talk to people on Tumblr sometimes. It's kind of a 50/50 chance that some will talk to me but I'm used to getting no response. Like, if they ask for advice from their followers or something, I'll talk to them and at least 3 will talk to me every so often if I comment on their memes or theories so I'm thankful for that. Also, I'm thankful when anyone talks to me. I usually just talk to my sister, her friend (who I barely know) and my mother these days offline so any input or talking is welcome.
I'm silent for days and days at a time and then, I suddenly burst out with all kinds of babble on my blog. I get nearly zero feedback except for about 3 regular people and text posts are pretty much a no go but I do have an Over the Garden Wall blog that gets traffic.
Friends, sure :> but I'm an unusual person so I'll likely say something odd that gets mistaken occasionally. I get severe depressive episodes and disappear sometimes. I also have OCD and ADD.

I sometimes say things to people offline, like while I'm grocery shopping or whatever but I normally just stick to myself. I'm a little strange looking and I'm pretty fat so I get a lot of unwanted looks. I used to be goth so I'd hear a lot of awful stuff from people.

I wondered if it may confuse somebody if I changed my avatar but most people don't know who I am anyway so I didn't give it too much thought :> I've only got 105 watchers on here due to my Pewdiepie drawings, I imagine.
Started on the drawing of Darkness in the last chapter of TWL we spoke of today and thought of some vague scenes for the new fic so that's progress at least. I never try to put myself on a clock but I'm going to have to because I want to get commissions going but it's still hard. I've seen some artist give themselves a two week window and some a two month window for commissions but I just have no idea. It all depends on detail, I guess.
The things I draw for myself, nobody likes much. For instance, this avatar is from a two panel comic I did of the 1994 adaption of The Shadow but only one person liked it on Tumblr. Then again, The Shadow fans seem to be pretty prudish.
So I'm going to try to draw Pokemon, Gemsonas or whatever people want. I'm just not very well known.

Well, I drew him with the usual, goat-like legs with some fuzz on them but I cropped them out. Mostly because I kind of didn't like the way I drew them, I suppose.
I would gladly draw more from my fic if you like it, if my mood permits it and things work out. We'll see what happens ;>
