Description

I had 2 versions of this picture and I couldn't decide which one I like better so I uploaded the one which was closer to the original. I still like the mirrored version though ([link] ). The picture is a bit bigger than A4 format so my scanner ate the edges :/
So this is an entry for a contest held by as well as another HoMM V fanart. This time it depicts a silver unicorn looking for its way back home. He stopped for a quick drink before he continues looking for Irollan. It's spring but it's still cold, first flowers started showing up but there is still some snow left in the shade. I wanted to capture a more gloomy atmosphere than in my "Spring Portrait" so I made the colours more dull. I also tried to make it look like the weather was chilly. I guess this painting turned out to be a mixture of [link] and [link]
