Ive recently been playing with 3d studio max. Ive been rendering my own abstract shapes, and then enhacing them with Photoshop. Still trying to get the hang of it, this is one of the better ones. Still very simple - and all too generic. I guess you have to start somewhere, the 15 images before this one were crap!!! lol Im also buzzing off photoshop at the moment. I have spent the past 2 years avoiding getting to grips with photoshop because everything I needed to do i could do faster with other programs. Hoever ive been doing some tutorials, and as a result have learnt some of the basics I needed to get my head around. Im very excited about using this software now, and i have no need for anything else. I always avoided filters and effects, because they are generic... but now im finding that the more you experiment with them, the more your mind thinks of the possibilities - then yoru work hopefully becomes less and less cliche and more your own. Im looking forward to see how i incorporate someof this 3d stuff into my digital illustration artowrk and graffiti.
