Just out of curiosity, what does "Cavalry" in the designation of a US Army unit tell you about that unit?

Aw well thank you! It's a lot of luck, I promise you haha. I was shooting that darn mortar all day for that shot!
Cavalry are scouts. They go in ahead of the fight to get intel/find the enemy, that sort of thing, and they're often mounted in Humvees.

Patience prevailed here. It may have taken a ton of less-than-stellar photos to get this one. I'd say it was worth it though. Good stuff!
