Before X, she manage to escape from Quan Chi's control for an unknown reasons & perhaps related to her MK9 ED, thus aiding Earthrealm in a shadow + by her luck while following Cage & Sonya infiltrated Quan Chi's fortress, Raiden found the way to revive her and her allies who had been turned revenants there. Afterwards, she still stay in a shadow for her safety and restore Edenia in the late Kitana & Sindel's honor
