practically everything runs the chance of being forgotten just by having new versions of it keep appearing.

monster rancher. it's actually an adaptation of a video game franchise.

basically the bottom two panels shows how fusion works in that series. though the two monsters have to be fused with aid of machines rather than just by themselves.
