Based off the lava lamps while I was looking for a good concept of the dolphin
But I have no idea if I add the evo, the whale does exist on Wailmer/Wailord. I had no idea if I change or not with other animals but suddenly asked me to pick narwhal instead a whale, a few days ago. Why not? It's a good idea, the problem is the concept! -w- I don't know what to do the horn, hahaha. -w-
About the type, I trought for both ELETRIC/FIRE, while my friend picked WATER/FIRE. Mmmh, which is better?
And yes, the colour on the lava are bad, I'll try to change look better than this shit. :<

Secondo me dovresti cambiare qualcosa. Mi piaccio molto già così però potresti mettere la lava sul giallo o sul blu elettrico (lol) se vuoi mantenere il tipo Elettro, oppure potresti fare i corpi più bianchi e lasciare la lava così sul blu-verde!

Beh alcuni colori possono suggerire un potere e quindi un tipo particolare. A me piace l'idea di farli Elettro/Fuoco ma dato che sono anche animali marini potresti fare, ad esempio, una evoluzione Fuoco e una evoluzione Acqua!

Nono, intendo che non sempre devono avere gli stessi colori per rispecchiare al tipo , ad esempio goldeen/seaking sono rossi non vuol dire è tipo fuoco ma acqua, oppure Cobalion è acciaio, non acqua. :3

Ci stavo pensando, il problema è come iniziare la forma base, avevo pensato al delfino come inizio poi evolvendosi in base a che cosa? Boh, si dividono in parti come balena, narvalo, orca e calamaro, ad esempio. C'è un ma, saranno tutti di stesso tipo, so che è mainstream. :/

Non importa il tipo, si sa che almeno Acqua è la base e poi puoi "giocare" con gli altri tipi da combinare (Elettro/Fuoco/Acciaio/Veleno per esempio), basta che abbiano un design originale come quello della balena. Certo simili ma non uguali!

In realtà bisogna vedere cosa c'entrano con i materiali, per la lampada lava è perfetto elettro/fuoco o anche l'uno o l'altro in caso di combinazione con qualcun altro, come ad esempio il delfino che ho fatto come acqua/fuoco.

That's a cool idea haha. About the types I think water/fire would be more suitable if these fakemon are actually aquatic, if not electric/fire would be cool for floating cetaceans (also, an electric/fire pokémon with levitate would be pretty cool haha) but it depends of what you had in mind with those.
About the lava colours...I'm not a colour expert but I think yellow spots in purple or orange spots in dark magenta could make cool lava colours.

Remember, Stunfisk is ground/eletric while it lives in the water or the eletric line of moray eel with levitate(wtf, why wtf). That's I guess a lot messed up with type choose. -w-"
You know, I made a research about colour, most of them have simple and monotone colour, I don't know if exist two totally different colour (for example the light is green while the 'bubble' is purple)

Oh, right (and I agree, even if Eelectross line is based in electric eels and lampreys it's pretty bizarre haha)..
With two completely different colours I don't know but I have just found two examples of combinations like the ones that I have mentioned in the other coment:
