Jack Frost is such an awesome mascot character and I'm really happy that we got to feature him so prominently in this comic. I especially love how innocent he looks in the 4th frame- he's just enjoying the moment, not even minding that the hero is palming his head like a basketball.
Also, before you think it's all bad for our little Jack Frost, just remember; at least he has a heal skill now.

I think the player should be allowed to pick which skill gets "mutated" in future SMT games, assuming the demon in question doesn't still have any vacant skill slots.

I hated that in the earlier games, it was so frustrating. Like setting up the ultimate demon, and out of curiosity you let them "evolve" and then your work went down the shitter.

The struggle is so real XD I always get so irritated when a demon wants to learn a new skill and they either learn something useless or they replace your most favorite move... D: But, then I feel bad if I say no because the demons get all sad or angry at you... ;~;

I'm new to this game series, I started playing this game and even though my bud told me not to play on hard I did. And when this happened I lost Mediarahan and replace with some dumb skill, sure made me rage since it was my only healer at the time.
Nice comic on how players feel about the demons in the game changing their skills.

My Apsaras changed a skill to freaking Mudoon of all things early on. Β Too bad it got lost when I fused her because I didn't know that you could change what Skills the demon inherited by going in and out.

I remember this happening to me early on in Nocturne. The trick is to watch your demons points increments after battle and update their skills in the Manor just before a level. Sometimes a useful skill will be learned. This is funny though.

Yeah, this is a bona fide "I feel you bro" moment for any Nocturne player. Though doing the "confirm/cancel dance" during fusion to get a decent skill set would probably be a close second.

The amount I was doing the confirm/cancel dance most recently in Persona 4 was absurd. All SMT games draw out the compulsion of trying to maximize your roster like some sort of crazed skill alchemist; attempting to brew the perfect combination in the fuse. ugggggghhhhh lol

Oh man... I sometimes hate the skill change thing. =.= It's like.... I can't say no cause there's that chance I'll get something really awesome! ....but most of the time it's always some lame stupid skill that doesn't do anything and I lose a really good one in the proses. T^T
