Thanks.
I remember watching The Big Bang Theory, and how the show pushed for Leonard and Penny to be a couple. In retrospect, they really have no chemistry; they have no common interests, they don’t do much together, and half the time, they just make snide remarks at one another.
So I opted to take a similar relationship (nerdy, socially awkward guy x preppy dumb blonde girl) and bring it to its logical conclusion.

Not seeing a lot of chemistry between these two

I don’t see it, either.
I wanted to take the “nerdy guy scores with blonde chick” narrative from high school romances, The Big Bang Theory, etc., to its logical conclusion.

I like how you experiment with perspectives and viewing angles. The poses are a little bit stiff, and I wish this was colored, or at least had more shading.

Thank you for your feedback.
Poses are something I struggle with (well, those and backgrounds). I hope to get better with both of those in future issues.
As for the lack of coloring/shading, it’s more complicated. I’ve been dealing with real-life issues, so I often struggled to work up the energy and inspiration to make the pages with. I was trying to figure out the visual style for my comic. I got sidelined by other art projects, including drawing up characters for the comic. And I’m a perfectionist. I felt if I tried to color and shade all of the pages on top of that, it would take too long and I’d never get it done. But I do feel this black-and-white style worked well for me at times (like the first page, which is still one of my personal favorites).
Maybe I’ll feel differently when I start working on Issue 2. But with Issue 1, it is what it is. All I can do is keep practicing and try to improve my art for future issues.

These two are definitely not meant for each other.

I literally feel Tucker's pain
Also, that meme reminded me of this one: pics.me.me/even-if-its-not-ali… xD

That’s exactly the meme I had in mind while making this.
And yeah, I thought I’d spare my good readers the mind-numbing details of Chloe’s inane chatter; she’s not exactly someone you can have an intelligent conversation with. Tucker, however, isn’t so lucky.
