okay so here's a more simpler design I ended up picking up when drawing Cometshine. This does not mean that the older design is wrong, I really don't care which design is used, (honestly it's just a change of the light design and light changes a lot right?) this is just a reference of how I'll be drawing her from now on and includes more helpful explanations. c:

So basics, CometShine or Comet, is female and her dominant form is feline. As shown on the ref she can transform into an orb of light or into other living creatures. If she does transform into another creature, there is always a special mark (her unique swirl) that is somewhere on the creature to show that it's Cometshine.

Her blue marks and tail are made up of pure light, and the amulet on her neck also contains the pure light. It's important to note that the amulet does not give her the light ability but rather the amulet is a part of Cometshine and can not be taken off. However if it were to be taken off (impossible), Cometshine would eventually be drained of her light and die. With the amulet Cometshine can use the light to grab objects and heal. It's very similar to the one in the graphic novel "Amulet". Her pure light is inexhaustible and cannot be taken away or lost.

Cometshine is ageless and therefore has no age. her personality is quiet but adventurous. She enjoys exploring and has a curiosity for everything. At first she may appear shy and not open up to others right away, but is quite the opposite when she's near friends she's known for a long while.
She's not one to hate anything, but one thing she does despise is the dark. Not like a dark room with no light, but more like a dark heart, full of evil. Sometimes she is afraid a darkness like this will overtake her, but is reassured to know that it would be impossible. Many times she will most likely help the one overtaken by the darkness.
