I've seen people offer mini pixels like this before and I've never really been a fan. They always just seemed to look too alike to me with how little detail you can fit into such a small image. Yours, though, are fantastic! I love how they all look so different from each other, each with their own pose and unique body shape! Really impressive.

Part of it is because I never use a base, I draw each on separately and resize the drawing to pixel it. The hard part is fitting in all the details, as you said because it's a very small space to work with. I try to make them as simple as possible by only shading the back limbs, but still try to maintain quality by styling the line art. I'm glad you really like them though! It really is a great challenge for me to work in such a small space, but when I go back to doing icons after mini pixels, I tend to appreciate the larger space and add more details than I usually would c:
