This was my final project for my color theory class! My assignment was to choose a subject or theme that I like or enjoy, and find an inspirational image that relates and use the colors from it to create a 10 color palette to use. I was to create 6 images that relate to one another using the colors, and have the colors represent something deeper like a feeling or emotion. The assignment was pretty openI chose to use the theme of space exploration, since I really love space and sci-fi. FTL was also an inspiration to me in creating these images. With the colors I generally wanted to communicate the feeling of adventure and curiosity; an overall fun feeling! I also had to use at least two mediums, so I chose to work with Prismacolor markers and colored pencils, along with a bit of acrylic paint for the stars. Let me tell you though, blending the markers and colored pencils was a very interesting technique I experimented and worked with xD Afterwards I just scanned them all in and color balanced them in photoshop so they look more like what they do irl
