Alright guys - another sample page of the re-mastered issue #1 of The Uniques!
For those who don’t know, the entire issue is getting cut in half and art and story are getting tightened. As you can see here, this page is very close to the original, but just looks a (and will hopefully overall read) better.
As I said before, about every page or two there will be a new panel, everything will be let out in general (no more 14 panels per page - what were we thinking?) and there will be new scenes! As a matter of fact, what will become new issue #2 will be just about completely brand new content. It’s going to be awesome and give The Uniques the real opening issues it deserves!

Somewhat - but the vast majority of the book is old panel. And I would say the text is still very similar to the old issue #1 - just cleaned up and clarified. With additional scenes and pages to help better tell the story.

I absolutely love the art for both before and after, as both look positively killer! However, I feel as if the story has more impact in the original page. I can empathize more with her plight, and that shot of her running her hands thru her hair is very powerful emotionally! Plus, those older guns look really cool!

I can see what you're saying...but many of those moments are just getting the room to breath - on average the old issue had 5-13 panels per page. YIKES!
And the old guns didn't make any sense for ranged attacks later - so the ones that shot tranquilizer darts for the rest of the issue replaced these here.
