This actually would work and honestly, looks better than the current suit.
Only thing I'd pass on would be the typical utility belt.

This one is great! I hardly see people redesign Ol' Hornhead with straight red, they always throw in black because using only red can be hard. You did a fantastic job on this design!

This looks pretty bad ass! Digging the gauntlets and the shoulder pads! Overall great work, especially with the clash of modern and tactile looks within the suit!
