EDIT (8/1/19): Little disclaimer here: this comic's aged HILARIOUSLY poorly in many regards. I don't condone rape jokes anymore and I definitely hopped off the Dante/Nero wagon once it was deffo confirmed they were uncle and nephew. I generally don't believe in getting rid of old stuff, though, unless it's real bad, so it'll stay up.-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah, but that's the joke. Before DMC4 came out, Dante was always paired with Virgil since there aren't any other pretty boys in the series. Along comes Nero, and voila! DantexNero.
