Animation Dump #1Over the months I create a lot of short animations that never go anywhere because they are usually just practice pieces not intended for any big cartoon. So I compiled a bunch of them together for viewing.
And yes the stick figure is being sarcastic on the looks of the plain menu, but "inside", there are so many action script codes going on to make this run smoothly ;b
Also, Skitzo the 1920's killer sun-bear is going to make another appearance in a future painting haha.

yeah that does sound like it would be a pain in the ass.
I'm no animator but I think the best thing to do for the really fast portions would be to just make a bunch of mouths that vaguely fit and just spam them through those sections.

yeah I'm kinda old-school traditional and I really hate recycled mouths...its just lazy and cheap looking animation (used in anime to cut budgets or in shows that are overseas produced by under skilled animators like they do in family guy) with stock mouths yapping away for 5 mins and hardly anyone moves. BLEH. Haha sorry for way too much info...but if I want to be a better animator you draw the mouths and do a good job at trying to really lip-synth the words, hence the reason I was even practicing mouths and singing in that cartoon in the first place heh.Β

I love Japanese animation but even I get annoyed with the mouth animation sometimes. Even in BIG BUDGET BLOCK BUSTER HOLY SHIT AMAZING anime movies like Spirited Away, or Nausica...or any Miyazaki movie the mouth barely deviant from oval and box shapes while the rest looks like a symphony for the eyes.

I feel like "morphing practice"'s story was that some unknown magic transformed Sin into an itsy bitsy dog, and after the spell went out, the last frame is him thinking "...Never...again.".

HAH! the true idea was that I was going to morph that dog into some other animal...but as it was going along I started making it look more and more like Sin and said ah hell just go with it. :b
