Last night in a state of insomnia and too much caffeine I opened up flash in a daze and this is the result of 3am drawing heh.

Wow I had only heard a short snippet of this song on an ad and recognized it immediately, I didn't know it was such an awesome and eerie social satire (I honestly thought it was some bubbly candy coated happy song), now I'll always see those last three boxes when I hear this Yay 8D .

Yeah XD I actually love how in the 60's when this was first released, the radios played it not really understanding its socially charged message because it was masked with such a sweet and happy tune. Once it was figured out though, the radios banned it XD I was just lucky enough to stumble upon this new cover version that made it sound happy but slightly darker than its original and it got my mind running. :b So at 3am, out came all these madly drawn happy faces on stick figures lmao. Thanks again for liking it!

Why would radios ban the song when they themselves put it on for the innocent melody? Social satire?
Someone must have noticed this almost disturbing little detail.
It all is the same, repeat over and over in the system... The Mainstream
The other side streams are the slight glitch in that programming of society that create those who can see outside of their BS

Yeah well the original sounds even more sweet then the cover used in the animation. AND itโs sung by a hippie in the 60โs so it was probably just thought of as a "love and peace" song haha. Then when the radio listeners started to figure out the lyric's true intentions they started playing the song at war protests and stuff and then the radios were pressured not to play it since it was like saying "we agree" with the hippies by playing it and the radios wanted to remain neutral on the issue. So yeah tl;dr, the radios didnโt want to handle the political issues the song was raising.

The song writer said it meant "shoddy and fake" it was a commentary of the materials made to construct the cooker-cutter suburbia houses that were growing in the states, and that the glorified concept of the "model citizen" persona people were supposed to have in that community was just the same.
