The next drawing in a series of requests/gifts I did in the spirit of Christmas and my pageviews (see: journal). This is The Violator from the Spawn comics. Did in a sketchy style
Requested by my friend Insector this one was realllly fun to draw and the only thing that ran through my mind as I drew this was "How in the hell have I never drawn this guy!? Oh the wasted years!!" lol, so yeah the Violator is an awesome character.

I knew you'd get into it. Nice one.
The mouth's at a jaunty angle that gives it a sort of comic appeal which contrasts nicely with the horror imagery. But I suppose that's true of almost anything you've made!
But yeah. You've taken a character and made it your own, and that's a real skill. Coolio.

Thanks for the fun requests haha. I agree the jaw is rather uh, jagged and crooked. Overall he's like in a small drawing box. :/ Gotta work on that pose lol. Still thanks for suggesting him!

I love Spawn and I love Clown.. which means I gotta love the Violator. Really though his design was always so original and demonically badass and you captured it perfectly! Amazing work.
