*sorry for all the long posts lately, I'm normally not this activeI finally got a camera from a friend to take some pictures of my paintings. This has been done since July and I'm barely documenting them now D;
Suicide is actually a set of two demons with masks. This variation on Suicide is not the common idea of just killing yourself to end your life. This is a *social* suicide...an act of killing your *self* in order to be accepted by others.
In this scene the person is in a wrapped cocoon-like skin and getting transformed into a lifeless drone. One demon puts a mask on it (similar to their own, as means of conformity), while the big one licks its gashes. The spectators on the top are all here to cheer and celebrate this "killing". One cuts his wrists and gives blood to the concept (with an evil bird having a drink ;] . The other is relieving himself. The next one is offering money like a person would to a cheering stripper....note: he’s actually an advanced-grown form of one of the abortion bear/bug babies’ lol, being a parasite in hell :>
And last but not least Sin, on the end there, happy to be a part of this lovely killing of one's soul.
Painting-wise, you might notice some colors being mixed into my grays...I've been slowly trying to incorporate purple, greens, and blue-grays to accent things like tongues and flesh and different skins. Kind of like that pink "Joe" painting, but not so harsh and saturated. My newer paintings go even a little farther on the colored grays than this one does.

I absolutely love these! The concept of demonic manifestations of every sin in the form of a repulsive grotesque monstrosity is definitely up my alley. and I especially love the symbolism behind them! This one particularly is really bleak and disturbing, and i love every bit of it

Speaking of which, since suicide rates are so high around Christmas, you think this section of Hell puts up a Christmas theme while doing this?

O_o" Wow...I thought suicide would be people hanging off by a rope swaying on a tree branch made out of human flesh covering bones with veins popping out on the skin. But your painting shows a good way showing how it is and symbolize more about suicide. x_x

Np ^w^ Well,its called being original,I know some people would use a tree and a person hanging there by a branch in most theories but with you,yours represents the change in this time. Also,you do have that guy,chick,thing hanging upside down so it represents to hanging and other symbolism here and there. Sooooo good job anyway ^w^

I recently finished reading Kierkegaard's The Sickness Unto Death and came across the following:
...By seeing the multitude of people around it, by being busied with all sorts of wordly affairs, by being wise to the ways of the world, such a person forgets himself, in a divine sense forgets his own name, dares not believe in himself, finds being himself too risky, finds it much easier and safer to be like the others, to become a copy, a number, along with the crowd.
Now this form of despair goes practically unnoticed in the world. Precisely by losing himself in this way, such a person gains all that is required for a flawless performance in everyday life, yes, for making a great success out of life. Here there is no dragging of the feet, no difficulty with his self and its infinitizing, he is ground as smooth as a pebble, as exchangeable as a coin of the realm. Far from anyone thinking him to be in despair, he is just what a human being ought to be. Naturally the world has generally no understanding of what is truly horrifying...
In short, an Absurdist view on sui-cide. Literally translated: 'self murder.' Kierkegaard makes that specification further on in the same book when talking about the physical act of suicide being, in its own way, equal to spiritual suicide.
Given our lengthy discussions previously on this picture, I figured it worthwhile to post this as a direct example of Absurdist views on suicide and the self.

Ah! But, Kierkegaard has a two-fold use of despair you see. Despairing "over" and "in" oneself. In the one, a person despairs that they cannot be themselves and are forced to conform to the world around them. In the other, a person despairs that they are not the person they wish they were and, instead, comfort themselves by rationalizing or explaining away their defects and ignoring themselves.
Kierkegaard's use of despair here is more than just the standard "I feel sad inside!" 
If you do get a chance to pick this book up, I highly recommend it.
