Description Based on the poll about what comics you guys wanted to see next for Trash and Clash, was the story of "Ivan the Bird Collector"

This story is actually a very long comic in my sketch book, and probably the most messy one since it spanned over a number of pages. Actually I think this is the first time I've had to make a Trash and Clash comic posted into 2 parts! I dread the day I try posting the story "Harvest Day" since that one is about 20 pages long X_X

I like your "King Kong" homage...and the way you have given Trash and Clash actual species types I really enjoyed reading this one...though I wonder how Clash is going to help him? I look forward to reading the next bit.

Yeah actually it’s the same guys haha, but I wanted an excuse to try animating Ivan (since this comic is older than the flash actually) so I just changed his role for the cartoon practice like shaved his moustache XD (but! If you look at his dream where he’s rich, he’s wearing the same top hat from the cartoon :b ).

Wow this is really amazing, by far my favorite! Is it just me or does Ivan look like your version of Facilier when you animated him singing "Are you ready"... Anyway another great installment of the Clash & Trash series, the stories that you write are written so greatly that I'm surprized that some T.V. company hasn't tried to buy you out yet. Most definitely a fav!

haha you have a good memory! Yeah the guy singing are you ready is Ivan XD. I wanted an excuse to try animating his long grin and thought it fit perfect with singing that song so I changed his role and shaved his moustache, but if you look in the comic when he's "imagining the fame" you can see his bent top hat too---the same one he wears in the cartoon. The Trash and Clash series is my personal favorite of your contributions to the interwebz. I'm often looking forward to seeing more of your heartfelt stories, I always squeal with joy when I see a new comic posted. This series is proof that it doesn't really matter if a comic is "messy." Trash is in trouble! QUICK! SOMEBODY GET ME THE PETA, NYPD, AND A PBJ!
Back to the comic. I like the messiness of this comic; in a way, it makes Ivan, (and his fantastic appearances and thoughts,) look more menacing and surreal. I guess this ties in with Trash calling him different, (also, props for the "bird-pimp" idea. ) The idea that Trash is captured and isn't "all-consuming " shows the mortality of Trash; he can't use his strength when he's been zapped and knocked out by a big stun gun. From what I can gather in this comic, Ivan appears to be twisted person, both externally, (i.e.: the way you drew him made him look evil,) and internally, (his fantasies about what he'll do to Trash and Clash.) And that grabs my attention. Overall, a great comic, can't wait for Part 2, and FAVED!

Wow what a great comment! thanks for that! Yeah it's true, Trash is not like an immortal super bird or anything hahah he does have mortality to him..A survivor from the very beginning of birth I guess you could say. And Ivan is indeed one of the first main villains they have come across. I have a series of other comics I've yet to scan on the others...but that’s for another time and story! haha anyways thanks again! Glad you read my Trash and Clash comics
