Trash and Clash go on a worm hunt! I drew this in Oct in the middle of my Inktober sketch book. As a result all the panels were done in ink rather then pencil so it may look sloppier then usual because I couldn't erase things...but yeah! Gave it a little digital shading too.

Yeah haha it did have a pretty happy ending there and Trash did get a yummy rabbit snack! I actually had to look and see if this was THE least violent comic and there is in fact one less violent...where Clash finds a music box and dances to it and Trash secretly dances to it too but only when no one was around. HAHA that one...NO one dies!

There's someone in my Comics college course that does similar work to what you do. It's like Skitzo with the 30's cartoon style and a ton of gore. The teacher told me to show your Skitzo the Bear stuff in class. Needless to say, I don't think he knows what he just asked.

I always imagine Trash to have the voice of Spike from your Super Sonic cartoon, and Clash having more of a tomboyish female voice.Β Β

Yeah its a lower tone like Spikes...but with a more advanced vocabulary haha (Spikes didnt say much XD or full sentences lol). Clash's voice is a bit harder to describe...it would be one of those voices no normal real human has, it's a pure cartoon voice you only hear in cartoons.Β

I always liked guys like Trash and Clash. It's people like them who show that any two people, no matter how different they are, can become the best of friends. In the end, it's not about the blood that's been shed, the organs that are harvested, or the bunnies that are eviscerated. It's about the connection the two friends share. And it's made particularly poignant by how two outcasts that the world has forgotten found one another, and stuck together since.

Ah thanks man for the kind words! Yeah haha I have fun with these guys and am glad their friendship shows though so well. They are the closest thing I have to a black comedy with heart...and eviscerated rabbits lmao.

The only one with heart? Ma'am, I don't think you realize what you have with Fibble and Sin. Those boyos are more than just an unfortunate man and his personal demon. It's the story of the suffering that a single, lonely man with no friends goes through. The primal urges that manifest within, personified as a rabbit/snake/cat who pushes the hapless, seemingly normal man to terrible situations. I make no theories about Sin being a figment of Fibble's imagination, but that's what I see when I read your comics. And that's what makes me keep reading them.
You, dear lady, are more talented than you let on. Whether it be modesty, a personal oversight, or some unknown fear of what the future could hold should you realize what you have on your hands, you must really take a closer look at your work.

I just meant heart like...a good friendship relation with each other. Fibble and Sin are pure enemies that are always dueling for power. And Sahu has some heart because of his pacifist side with his cat, but not like trash and clash levels. And when you see SAHU and his creator interact they have the same goals but not the same understanding or even "friendship". That's all I meant really haha.

Ma'am, heart is not only the friendships and goodwill between characters. It can be many different things. It can be the part of yourself that you unknowingly put into your stories. It can be the flavor that draws in the readers to the world you create. It can be the personal style and meticulous formula that you have refined to make yourself stand out as an auteur. It can be one of those things, or any of dozens of others.

Yeah, in a funny way this one was more lighthearted! And considering it has just one eviscerated rabbit that's saying a lot! XD In this case, it was more of a fun romp with them hunting worms, and a little peek into Trash and his kindness to just let Clash have that spunk and confidence and not tear it down (that it wasn't a worm).Β

I love how loose you are with your lines. For me I get so worried if something isn't blended perfectly, or if a line width bulges too much. You seem cery comfortable and it adds to your style so props to you
