You don't need the dakuten on the 'ki' because 'chivalry' is 'ninkyou' - which is what you have in the picture.
That's 'ninkyou', not 'ningyou' as you romanized it in your comment.
Incidentally, 'mermaid' is 'ningyo' (no 'u' ), but 'ningyou' can mean 'doll'.
Sorry to be pedantic, but you're picture's fine. Like your gallery, by the way!

Ahh, so beautiful! I love this show and the way you've portrayed the best character from it!
If you don't mind me asking, is this a vector? Your lineart is so refreshingly unique, unusual yet clean.
Oh, and her expression is just awesome

Sorry for being unfamiliar with the term. By saying raster do you mean just a regular digital drawing?

Vector and Raster are two types of art programs. Vectors work with line curves, raster works with pixels.
What Saidryain is asking is if you traced it in a vector program. What ComoPa answered is that she used a raster-based program.
Does that help?

I should have finished watching this anime. This makes me really want to, but how to find time...?
And welcome to the dark side.

Well, I don't know too much about traditional manga dialogue but this is a beautiful drawing. I love the classic comic style black shading!

Ooh excuse me but it says "Ninkyou" instead of "Ningyou" ^o^ And the little "yo" should be beneath the "ki". Other than that the pic looks wonderful : D

great
somewhat different from ur usual tones
(ps the yo part of kyo/gyo should still be beneath)

I like how you mixed traditional Japanese style art with anime ^-^

A couple of nitpicks on the dialogue: you're going from vertical to horizontal to vertical again (yΕon are supposed to follow the main writing direction), and if it's supposed to be "ningyΕ" it's missing the dakuten (the two short lines like a quotation mark) next to the ki, because right now she's saying "ninkyΕ".

Awesome
But I think there is a "orthographic" mistake in the last hiragana: You see, if you were saying "gyou", the hiragana "Kyo" should have two Ten (dots) in there.
I don't know if you already aware about this, but just in case, there you go.

I was aware of that but the one written on the anime (eps. 26) was the one I used here.

No kidding!
Mmm, I wonder if they're the ones who made that mistake...
Oh well, whatever it is, it's still awesome
