Almost done with it...*** I don't know how many times I cursed this kit there are just so many things that make this one so hard to build.

kits cost roughly around 2700 - 3000 for the messiah only. Super packs cost around 900 - 1200 as for the Armored Messiah ( ozma and alto ) it costs around 4000 - 5000 each...
DX Chougokin costs around 7000 - 8000 for the Messiah.
Super Packs at 2000 - 3000 and the Armored Messiah ( Ozma ) at 13000 or so

Ah ok. So my estimate was right.
I'll stick with the 1/72 kits though. Mas detailed and costs less than the DX Chougokin series.

NP didn't add the cost for materials but somewhat it'll cost you around 4-6k if you plan to hand paint it.

Yeah. Oo nga pala. But actually I only plan to paint the "wrongly painted" parts and panel line the thing. Then after the stickers or decals, I'll just spray paint the whole kit with clear acrylic. It looks like you painted everything. hehe.
I used clear acrylic on my Yamato Valk after applying stickers and it looked better with the coat on.
One more question: Did you use the waterslide decals or the stickers on your kit?

hehe actually I didn't paint the whole kit just added a "top gloss coat" ( laquer) and painted the wrongly painted parts which are really little compared to gundam kits.
yah top coats make your toys look better and protects it from scratches and dust.
yup I used waterslide decals on it and it was a pain applying it.

You have got to post a finished version once you have it together and everything, I have built that model three times and I always failed, probably cuz it frustrated me more than any other, so I've been wanting to see a finished one for a while, good luck and have fun ^^

I have the 1/100 toy of this and the transformation mechanics are terrible. I like the way it looks overall but I am a bit disappointed with Shoji Kawamori's structural design this time around.

the 1/100 toy is a big disappointment since you're removing so many parts for it to transform properly... as for the 1/60 scale it's not as close to the anime... the best one's still this 1/72 kit if you finish it properly

AGREED with the cursing thing... I've built the alto saotome's version, and I cursed maybe as much as u did.. but I love the detail of this VF-25..
VF-27 is my next victim.. lol
