More pokémon art for my amazing internship and the Cosplay for Science initiative (instagram , twitter )
I had so much fun painting these poké-fossils omg! It is surprisingly hard to paint flattened bones when you are used to 3-dimensional ones….
Fossil Archeops, based loosely on the Berlin archeopteryx specimen , and fossil Archen, inspired by that one amber specimen with a dino tail in it from a few years ago. Their specimen numbers are based on their pokedex numbers
