Can't agree enough to THAT statement! And to be honest I'm not much of a fan of Levi, but their platonic/chosen family relationship is absolutely precious.
Why did she and Farlan have to die? I mean I know why, but why?

Isabel was like a little sister to him and i really loved their brother-sister dynamic (kinda made me wish i had something like that with my siblings lol). I think the thug trio wouldve made a hella badass squad in the main story but then again the likelihood of them dying early on (like marco) wouldve been really high and i dont think my poor heart wouldve survived that D: im going to be a mess when OVA 2 comes out my babies ;-;

Ah yes, she truly was. Their relationship made up probably one me my all-time favorite BROtps (somewhat of a pun, hehe). I found it more than a bit adorable how Levi kind of opened up a bit to her without fully showing his emotions... Because well, he was affectionate but still kept that cold face even throughout. And wow, yeah... Humanity's Strongest Trio... That's something I would've loved seeing. I don't feel like I personally attached to his secondary squad, though it would've been cool to see Isabel and Farlan alongside him in the cannon series. They yeah, would've probably died around the time those guys died off... It's painful to imagine, gah.
I feel you. We can suffer together, then.

Personally, I think my ship with her as one of the graduates would have to be Armin... Just because she's a lil undereducated, optimistic, determined confidence booster and Armin's a highly-self-educated, originally low-esteem intellectual and I think they'd kick it off fine.

Hmm well i dont really ship her with anyone tbh mostly because the logical side of my mind tells me that the snk timeline is sorta confusing and isabel would be a lot older than all of them???? Idk its just how i think.
But never mind that, i think she wouldve been total bros with the 104th and the uh deceased Squad Levi and total besties with armin.
Likewise, they'd hit it off like a house on fire. Isabel would be a total mentor to him and Armin would teach her how to read and write while she would share with him a few of the sneaky tricks she's learnt in the Underground (Armin learns about her horrible singing habit) and Armin would sometimes use those tricks as strategies in his plans and Erwin would use his plans (Isabel encourages him to share his thoughts and insights more and Levi is actually impressed with them so he tells Erwin).
I think i wouldve absolutely loved their working dynamic a lot omg i would love to go on about all those moments but there are just too many

Yeah, that's true. I have thought about that before, and in wouldn't ship because of the difference in age- if she were one of the cadets, however, or Hanji devised this way to reincarnate people as their same ages, that would be the only way I'd really want to see it. Otherwise I agree- age difference would be off-putting (I'm guessing that you and I are the same on terms with Ereri, then? Because personally I don't ship that one because of the difference).
Indeed. I think they'd get along quite well. Think she'd probably like learning how to read but get bored with math (from that bit of cannon evidence, and honestly, I wouldn't blame her). Oh my- that'd be hilarious. Armin learning about her little earsplitting singing, heh. And yeah- to be honest, I can kind of see a bit of a platonic relationship/BROTP between Levi and Armin... Just because Armin is somewhat similar to Farlan, since he's also an intellectual who has the same set of skills as him. I can believe that Isabel and Armin would be a pretty nice team on the field, too- with someone who's spent their life with Humanity's Strongest, I don't think there's a way that she couldn't be a hella badass. So you've got her strength and Armin's wits... Oh my, it's a wonderful idea I think. A friend came up with the ship and can't deny I've fallen for the idea.
Oh yes- please do! This is a BROTP/non-age-gapped ship high on my list, and literally no one's caught on to the potential of it.
