That's very true, very very true, but that suit and the one he fights in are completely different you know? I think its so cute and rather intelligent that he tinkers and has all these suits created for different purposes. The one that was finishing up that line under water, in the Avengers, was a suit that was built to withstand copious amounts of pressure. I don't know if that makes sense, I don't normally have to explain myself.

Actually, I always thought this about the Ironman suits. I mean I know he later made one for underwater use but he would still sink like a rock.

You and me both. I always thought that with the suits having power from his reactor and jarvis, the suit would act fluidly and weightlessly, but as soon as it lost power it would just drop like a rock.

Well, if you must know, this did start off as a very sad picture, to a song, where he was drowning "metaphorically". Thanks for reminding me of that though, now that you mention that, this is super sad. He'll live through this though, Jarvis gets the thrusters started and Tony is alive and safe once again.

There was a scene similar to this in Iron Man 3. It triggered a massive panic attack because of his PTSD from being in the wormhole (though it wouldn't surprise me if he already had it from being captured and tortured in the first movie and it just got worse) so Jarvis had to save him.
