"Yes, I'm a Viper, but I never ever agreed with what Advent and the Elders were doing to everyone. The biochip they had implanted in my head when I was newborn happened to be defective, although I played along for several years that I was obeying their commands without question. As for me being extremely muscular, turns out I had some rather favorable genes according to Dr Richard Tygan when he examined me after I peacefully surrendered to a XCOM squad.
It most likely is related to how we Vipers were genetically altered into the Thinmen during the invasion of Earth, they used genetic samples from humans to turn us into these infiltration units and some of those genetic samples must have remained in us ever since which could be why I ended up with a far more impressive strength level then most Vipers, but I hope that we can beat Advent and the Elders and thus free not only humanity, but also all the other aliens from their control.
As for how I got to be part of the XCOM rebels? The high command realized that having one of Advents own troops as a soldier would be invaluable and at the same time, I get to exact payback on Advent's grunts and help free Earth from them, plus my natural Viper abilities will surely come in handy."

I have actually started to like the Vipers in XCOM 2, damn shame though that they're always hostile and can't be persuaded to join the XCOM rebel group, unless you use the Playable Advent mod that you can find on Steam Workshop.
But yeah anyway, this is what I would look like as a Viper and as you can tell from the backstory, I don't exactly have much love for Advent nor the Elders that control them.
And yes, that is the XCOM group's logo I have as a tattoo on my chest.
