"Generally spoken... Legion is a heavily disciplined army. We train for years in coordinated attacks and following the orders of the officer in charge of the campaign, but this is not always the case. In the Barbarian division there is not that many rules when conducting war. Everyone there is a trained soldier sure, but they lack discipline, patience and simple manners of behavior... They are defiant, foulmouthed, promiscuous and cruel almost on the point of sadism... Unlike standard legion training, they train in enduring pain and charging in the right direction with minimal collateral damage... Their leader is a woman, they call her the Queen, but it is a almost meaningless title. She just likes it because it makes her feel important despite the fact that she is one of the lowest ranking major officers in legion. The Queen can be described with many words, kind, puristic, gentle, silent. These are not among them, she is cruel, loud, foulmouthed and one of the biggest whores you could ever hope to meet in your life. Her job is simple, make sure that her army can charge ahead without question or fear of the certain death of their suicidal charge into battle. But despite her flaws she is very good at her job because her soldiers will follow her as she leads the charge with her dual battleaxes in her hands screaming at the top of her lungs FOR THE LEGION!!!!..... Simply put the Barbarians create nothing, but chaos and fear when they charge ahead in frenzy, but sometimes that is what you want the enemy to experience. Chaos and Fear. And i strongly doubt that anyone does that better than the Barbarians" - General Valiant, leader of the 4th division

First picture of the year.
Worked on this last week. First got around to finalize it now. Another piece of the lore behind legion. More imbound as this is going to be one of my longest running projects i have planned for this year. In case you are wondering why the "TF2 freaks" tag is missing from the title, recently I am starting to see problems with calling the Legion freaks. They have such a MASSIVE lore universe behind them and are currently on the balancing on a knifes-edge of Mary-sue characters compared to other freaks. As a result i have decided that for the time being they are not freaks, though they exist within the freaks universe.
I am going to make a overall profile on legion next that will help to explain legions overall lore soon.
Special thanks to for helping with the design of the Queen.

I still think she should have had darker armoury and possibly a darker blue clothes-colour.

Dual wielders make accent on killing their opponent before being damaged. In that regard it's pretty effective. There's an adage, the best defense is a good offense.

that maybe true. the stronger the offensive the less chances the attackers get ... only if you are close or fighting with 2 people I guess cause if the axes is small to block attack coming from both side and back but with shield or having one hand that isn't quite busy then he can both dodge and block but yeah I still see your point

I agree with Puzzler and remember that dual axes in the hands of a berserker is a formidable foe to go up against.

Better said Barbarian tag or ppl without culture has been given wrongly as many of these groups like Germanic's Goth's and so forth have over the last few years been discovered to have had quiet an well build sosaital structure that allowed anyone to claim to the top and yes that includes even Slaves

I know about this.... But does that really mean that it will apply to here?... Not really. I called them barbarians because of their barbaric nature compared to the rest of the Legion.
