Personality:
A relatively gentle undyre curio, both in appearance and words... However she is rather firm in her ways, and won't stop to do and get done what she thinks is right. She's not very street smart, especially when it comes to the main-land... She's also not very experienced in having friends.

History:
Matcha was born to a relatively well-known Architect family who have been regarded as dutiful scholars. She learned proper manners and to this day keeps them rather well. Her parents weren’t the most doting, but they did seem to love each other and her, never mistreating her. They did have high expectations and likewise expect her to fulfill her duties.
As such she studied with the best of them and kept them happy. She learned how good she had to be and made sure to reach it, even if it took losing a lot of free time to studying.

  She never had a “dream” job, she simply followed what paths her parents were on. As she grew older and learned about more jobs, she took an interest in curio minds. Therapy is still a respectable and helpful job, her parents reasoned, as long as she kept up on her studies and wrote meaningful papers about what she learned, they didn’t mind.

  Her parents were everything to her. She never had siblings. As knowledgeable professors that she had (at least some) classes with, she thought they were the pinnacle of what she could achieve. They weren’t strict, but they were driven and purposeful. They knew exactly what to do and how to do it- at least that was how it seemed to her. It wasn’t until she truly began to learn about the mind and curio behaviors that she began to think that maybe being a teacher like the two of them wasn’t the end goal.

  Sometimes she regrets not playing with other undyre children more as a child, having felt she missed out on some valuable social interaction that she feels she just can’t get away with anymore. She could, but she isn’t sure if she should. As a child, whenever she would go swimming, she took to making sandcastles and collecting shells. As she grew into her more teen-early twenties years she took up the art of tea-making, finding it calmed her down and tickled at her brain at the same time.

After the Tech War she moved out of Tonpelli- especially once she met Rice at the Spitfire Carnival on Shimmersea. They started dating officially during the Feast of Beasts and continued on that track well into the future until eventually she is surprisingly with child, something she figures out with the help of her friend Honey . Upon the discovery, after some conversation with Rice, they one day go share the news with Rice's family on Marrette Island.
It's an exciting occasion for the Mora family! They plan a 'wedding' for after the child, Genmai, is born- which happened while Marsa was on trial.
Together the couple helps build a fishing vessel and send it off for its maiden voyage. It is not their boat officially, but it is recognized in a sentimental way, and the two of them get some say in the boat's name; The 'Shoal', after Matcha!
