Description
Because there is some strange part of me that is obsessed with challenges and is slightly masochistic, I'm going to attempt the famous 100-theme challenge. I'm probably not going to make it, but I'll attempt nonetheless.And because there is a big strange part of me that is obsessed with Harry Potter and is DEATHLY excited for the Deathly Hallows premiere, I decided to draw that nostalgic scene where Hermione introduces/barges in on Harry and Ron, who was just about to turn his stupid fat rat yellow.
(That's Neville behind Hermione, btw. He lost his toad.)
All characters belong to J.K. Rowling, obviously. She's quite awesome. Especially since she's basically the only person who has gotten me to fully ship a canon pairing among various other reasons.

In this piece specifically? Oh, it was supposed to be Hermione's introduction to Harry and Ron, or more generally, the reader's introduction to Hermione, or even the beginning of the journey to Hogwarts and magic. All my themes are a bit loose, I guess

Yeah, I mean, the whole point of the theme challenge is that you take this one prompt, say "introduction" or "love" or whatever, and you turn it into the inspiration for whatever piece you end up making. Like, for "Silence" I did the scene where Ariel trades her voice for legs (and thus becomes silent), or for "Insanity" I did Luna and the thestral (with the quote "you're just as sane as I am"). You know, you really have creative license here- as the artist, you can do whatever you want with the theme, it's just a source of inspiration
