Thanks Tina.  Sorry for the slow response. It annoys me that Deviant Art still doesn't notify the artist when comments are left other than by logging in. Email notifications would be fantastic, but for whatever reason DA just doesn't want to do this.

I had been playing around with Lux Render and the CarPaint shader. It's an awesome shader, BTW. I'm going to start up another series with it soon.

The reflections on the suit are part of CarPaint (the reflection depth and fresnel can be tweaked). The reflections on the ground are part of the Glossy shader. I believe this shader has a sort of fresnel quality when lowered.
