Description
My first submission from my 40D. I've already taken hundreds of pictures in the last few days so look forward to a handful of submissions here and there as I work RAW conversions and all that. I'm trying out a 1 pixel black border and a small watermark... feedback would be appreciated. I doubt I'm going to continue watermarking; I just wanted to try out something subtle.Davis Island before dawn.

Oh wow its gorgeous. The light shining through is amazing. The watermark seems kinda big but I dont know crap about those so...haha. And yea whats the second bottom light from?

Thank you for the kind words. I'm not really planning on doing anymore watermarks; the more I think about it the more I feel like they look tacky

I think just normal like white texted small signatures look good. I dunno. Haha and thats weird too, that bottom light is just so obvious and we have no clue what it is! lol. Well it makes it special then.

Spectacular! an amazing photo I must say. One question.... is the second light a foglight from a building or an artifical light?

My guess is that it was a light for a paved walkway, but since I was on the other side of the channel I never got close enough to investigate.
