great shot. there is a conversation, or an understanding between these two vessels. the building in the middle helps produce an effective shot. a little more contrast might look alright, but it might lose the misty atmosphere.

I see you're great with lights in darker scenes (like at night). I suppose having a digital cam helps. I'm using analog, partly because I like the true film grain, but of course that means special lighting always is just a shot in the dark (quite literally

I like the water too... 3 seconds is enough to smooth it out, but not too long to give it that flat and foggy long exposure look. Digital definitely helps with night exposures... between selectable white balance and the ability to review histograms, capturing good night exposures becomes much easier!
