Well, I think he has a real mouth because if not than he wouldn't even have teeth in there, but the whole doesn't make sense because flowers don't have a mouth unless certain species like the carnivorous plants and such.
To the eating myth I guess Flowey doesn't really need food because all flowers gets their food through sunshineΒ or water.
With the tummy aches I guess it gets caused through a certain pressure in his stem if he eats something which isn't even digestible to flowers.
So if he's eating like a buffalo than it's his own fault for the cause of pain.
