It was quite an ordinary Sunday morning. The bright spring sun was shining and it was very warm outside. Miguel, as usual, took his beloved dog Spike to the nearest park for a walk, where they played for quite a long time and ran through the most distant and dark groves. However, at a certain point the teenager was distracted by a message on his phone and he missed the moment when his dog ran away somewhere. Little pet sensed something completely alien to our world in the depths of the thicket... A doggie accidentally activated the protective systems of a unprecedented spherical ship that made an emergency landing a few weeks ago, and woke up its passenger...

While Miguel was running around the park in a panic, the sinister insectoid absorbed the defenseless dog, instantly assimilating its flesh, genetic material and visual images. The alien instantly reshaped its body, imitating the appearance of Spike, and immediately ran to its frightened owner. The kid was so glad that he did not notice the substitution at all and brought the otherworldly creature directly to his home...

For the rest of the day, the intruder behaved rather quietly, carefully analyzing the environment and human mores. It was only under the cover of night, when the unsuspecting teenager and his family were already asleep, that it began to act. The creature took its original form and began to emit a low-frequency chirping with its disgusting chelicerae. Under the influence of this sound, Miguel automatically got out of bed and stood at attention. His eyes were wide open and his muscles were tense, but he was still sleeping. The insectoid entwined the frozen kid with its slimy tentacles and directly connected to the main systems of his body, including reproductive and nervous. Having penetrated into the mind of a young man, it began to rewrite his personality and correct his memories. The main facade of behavior, consisting of habits and knowledge was preserved, but the basis of consciousness was completely erased and replaced with embedded suggestions...
