Henry and Arthur, who have been soaking up the atmosphere of this great city since they were very young, have never lacked for a wide variety of entertainment. They attended every significant event in high society and had a reputation for cheerful rakes who knew a lot about fashion and pleasure. However, happiness is a fleeting thing. Over time, they got bored with masquerade balls, going to the theater, gambling, playing polo, hunting, and even brief affairs with naive ladies. In the end, in order to somehow dispel the overwhelming longing, the young gentlemen decided to participate in a session of mesmerism and telepathy. They turned to the famous master of the occult sciences, who was elicit delight from everyone who had the honor to attend the sacraments he conducted.

Henry dismissed the servants and independently prepared the darkest room of his luxurious estate for the ritual. Soon, the seekers of forbidden knowledge gathered at a large round table and began to recite the necessary spells.
