OMG i have a new favorite show!!
these two are the cutest couple, i just wish inuyasha could get over DAMN KIKYO ALREADY. im only on episode 58 right now so NO. SPOILERS.i tried out muro, and this is the result .____.

if you have the opportunity watch it in japanese with subs, the japanese voice actors put so much more emotion into their parts that's lost in translation (there are also a lot of words that are erroneously translated that don't have english equivalents) because japanese is a language that very much depends on voice inflection and it's not just the meaning of what's being said that gets changed in the dubs at times but the emotional subtext. kagome and inuyasha come across as a much nastier people in english even when the lines are the same because of the way they are played. . and i will definetely do that. i noticed that when i watched some scenes with english subs. they do have SO much emotion! it made the english ones seem awkward.. >_>

the erroneous translations of words like 'youkai', 'mononoke', 'oni', 'bakemono' as 'demon' ('akuma' = 'demon' by the western definition a term that is not used in either manga or anime). 'osuwari' is a command for a dog to 'sit', japanese have many different terms for 'sit' and the one that is used for inuyasha's kotodama is used almost exclusively as a command for dogs and would not be confused with an invitation for a person to take a seat.
