Hey there!This is the Masterchief as he appears in the HALO 3 commercial.
I used a screenshot from the commercial as a reference. I tried to get the lighting as realistic as possible although you can probably see some cell-shaded elements from when i was outlining it.
I used a 0.5mm mechanical pencil and Photoshop to clean up the drawing afterwards.

I did NOT trace this! There seems to be slight confusion from my description. I did outlining to darken the lines before scanning so that they would show up better. I referenced the pose, I didn't trace anything.

Although you can say that tracing is a start for you but you still have to learn the fundamentals and basics of art like drawing realistic humans and scenery paintings, only then you can draw anything from scratches.
Do consider taking up art lessons and get yourself some self-learning art books from your nearest bookstores.

I didn't trace anything for this picture, I only referenced the pose.
Drawing realistic humans and scenery maybe what you're interested in but for the drawings I prefer to do, neither would really help. Although I am currently learning body proportions.
