My personal favorite:
"Windows has encountered an unexpected error." (and an OK button.)
That's it. No description of WHAT the error is, which could, heaven forbid, be USEFUL in troubleshooting.
Since I'm in the process of writing the next version of my company' flagship software product I'm working on human-readable error messaging because I know I for one am tired of that crap.
